Death By Chocolate Cake

I know you are thinking two things:
Man, that looks delicious.
I couldn't make that! How many calories would be in ONE piece?

Just ignore that second thought. Highly too logical for this kind of decadence  When it comes to chocolate, go with your gut. If you are going to make something with chocolate, go big or go home!

Ingredients:
1 package devil's food cake mix
1 (5.9 oz.) package chocolate pudding mix
1 cup sour cream
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1/2 c. warm water
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cake and pudding mixes, sour cream, oil, beaten eggs and water. Stir in the chocolate chips and pour batter into a well greased 12 cup bundt pan.
  3. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until top is springy to the touch and a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool cake thoroughly in pan before inverting onto a plate.

    I totally second Mim's comments; this cake is DELICIOUS and definitely defines "Go big or go home" when it comes to chocolate. Mims and I made this last Christmas and it still makes my mouth water to think about it. You have to try it.
